Escola Regenerativa breaks with the classical notion of “school”. We are not a rigid structure but a living and dynamic center of contiuous learning shaped by our land, history, and collective experience. It was created by a group of international teachers with deep expertise in permaculture, pattern language, soil health, and natural building, who came together to restore an abandoned village as a place of learning.
Rather than starting from scratch, we learn through regeneration—reviving soils, rebuilding ruins, and listening to the patterns already present in the landscape. The village and old villagers themselves become a teacher, offering lessons rooted in real processes and cultural memory.
What makes Escola Regenerativa truly unique is this blend of education and restor(y)ation. By reconnecting learning with land and story, we create an environment where knowledge is embodied, meaningful, and alive. Our ongoing artist residencies add another layer of depth and beauty, weaving creative expression into the regeneration of both narrative and landscape.
